Start your data toolkit.
Your AI helper can do the hard setup. You will open the files, answer a few questions, and check the first report.
You need these things.
- Your toolkit ZIP file
- A Mac or Windows computer
- Docker Desktop
- Codex or another coding helper
- About 30 minutes
Do not add a password, secret key, or live customer file yet.
Let your AI helper lead the setup.
- Open the ZIP.
Double-click it. Move the open folder to a safe place.
- Start Docker Desktop.
Wait until Docker says it is ready.
- Open the folder in Codex.
Keep the full toolkit folder open.
- Open the setup prompt.
Copy all of prompts/instantiate-toolkit.md. Paste it into a new task.
- Follow one step at a time.
The helper will check the pack, start it, and run safe sample data.
Use this if you get stuck.
Please pause. Tell me what this step does in plain words. Show me the safest next step. Do not change a real file yet.
Start with a copy.
- Export a CSV or Excel file from your business tool.
- Keep the first file small.
- Make a copy. Keep the first file safe.
- Open the local upload page shown by your helper.
- Add the copy. Read the file plan.
- Approve the field match only when it looks right.
The toolkit does not need your login or account password.
Use the export your business already has.
Pick a tool below. Open its help page. Export the file. Then add the saved file to your local toolkit.
